A must-have for introducing a variety of textures, promoting self-feeding & reducing food mixing.
How to Use
Teaching and learning at home:
Start with a calm and safe environment
Place plate in front of child on a clean and dry surface
Talk about what foods the child has infront of them, their textures, smell and taste. This helps to enhance language development and exposure to new words and sounds
Model scooping and squishing spoons into different textures and encourage baby to trial this themselves
Extend the learning:
Offer different textured foods and encourage trial the range of spoons that work best
Encourage hands-on exploration, as touching food aids oral and sensory development.
Note: If your child isn’t scooping independently yet, continue to pre-load the spoon with food and modeling the process with the ordinary shaped spoon. Your child will master this skill in their own time so continue to be patient and encouraging.
Divided Suction Plate (6+months)
Wash in warm soapy water or place in the dishwasher.
Always supervise mealtimes.
Ensure baby is seated safely while eating.
